Nottingham CityCare, the city’s largest provider of community health services, proudly attended the Notts Pride celebrations on Saturday 27 July.

Our colleagues marched with their friends and families, joining more than 7,000 others through Nottingham City Centre, before staffing our information stall in Sneinton market. CityCare received a shoutout by the parade .

At the head of the second wave of the parade, CityCare colleagues marched from Lister Gate, into the Old Market Square, through Hockley to Sneinton Market.

Visitors spoke to staff, finding out more aboutCityCare, its services and employment opportunities on offer.

Nottingham CityCare is proud to support Notts Pride and the LGBTQIA+ as one of the many communities we serve.

Erica Pearce, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Reducing Inequalities Project Support Officer, who lead work to bring CityCare to Notts Pride for the first time said it was important for CityCare to take part.

“It is important we demonstrate our support for patients from all sectors of society, talking to them about the services we provide, the services they might need and how we can reduce any barriers there might be that could prevent them from accessing the care they need.

“We had great conversations and a lot of positive responses from people who have used CityCare’s services.”
