The Staff Survey results are in! Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2020 NHS staff survey; we had 590 responses taking us to an overall response rate of 54%. This is against a national response rate of 47%. This year, the National NHS Staff Survey Co-ordination Centre has published the results of all of the 280 organisations that took part in the staff survey on their website, where you can find detailed benchmark reports of their findings, including our survey results.
CityCare’s staff survey group will now meet each month to review our survey results and identify key areas for action in 2021 to 2022. We’re delighted to say that we have improved and have stabilised in a number of areas from 2019 to 2020 following our survey action plan and monthly ‘You Said, We Did’ documents in 2020.
Louise Bainbridge, Director of Finance and Corporate Services said: “What you have continued to achieve through an extremely challenging time is nothing short of incredible – thank you all. We are dedicated to improving our staff experience at CityCare so please do feedback your thoughts on these results so we can focus on the areas that will improve your working conditions the most. We are committed making CityCare a great place to work.”
The staff survey group will publish its action plan in the next few weeks which will also go to the Board for approval in April. We will provide regular updates on the staff survey action plan and ‘You Said, We Did’ document (which will be updated monthly), and any staff engagement sessions from now until September 2021.
